The Rubis Ion is an antibacterial-coated pair of tweezers which allows both precise and also hygienic use. We do not recommend sterilizing coated tweezers with chemicals.  Wash with mild soap and water.  Every pair of Rubis tweezers is handmade and although the tips are durable, their functionality may be compromised if the tweezers accidentally falls on a hard surface
